গভীর রাত আর কিছু জোনাকির আলো,
জেগে আছি একা আমি,
আসবে কি? বাসবে আমায় ভাল।
জোনাকিরা নেচে বেড়ায় আমার চারি পাশে,
চেয়ে আছি পথ পানে,
আসবে কি? বসবে আমার পাশে।
তারায় তারায় গেথেছি এক মালা,
এ মালা তোমায় দেবো,
তাই জোনাকিদের বেড়েছে গায়ের জ্বালা।
রাত হবেনা কো ভোর তারা গুলো হবে অশান্ত,
এখনো হয়নি দেরি,
আসবে কি? করবে ওদের শান্ত।
মন সুখে উথাল-পাথাল নাচে তা তা থই থই,
এসেছ তুমি বেসেছ ভাল,
তাই রাত শেষে ভোরের আলো চিকমিক করছে ঐ।
Hmm…It’s a poem (sort of) written in my native language. The theme is romantic for the Valentine’s day to my wife. Thanks.
