Cornell University and Finger Lakes, New York State

We came to visit Cornell University and Finger Lakes in New York yesterday. After a three and a half hour drive from Harrisburg, we arrived Cornell in the afternoon. We drove through the north central region of Pennsylvania and enjoyed a scenic mountainous landscape.

I assume most of you know Cornell. It’s an Ivy League university that’s not for average student like me who is neither super talented nor super rich.

The Cornell campus is very natural and situated at the end of one of the Finger Lakes in Ithaca, New York.

Cornell was having convocations and the campus was packed with students and parents. We didn’t get a parking and couldn’t take photos of any buildings or other features of the campus.

Now comes photos from the Finger Lakes. There’s a fact about Finger Lakes. These lakes were created around two million years ago when original glaciers from the north moved south. Two of the 11 lakes we visited are deepest in America.

We drove nearly 400 miles on the day and had time for only 2 lakes.
